Welcome to One Woman’s View, my new site within eRobertParker.  From my offices here in the Napa Valley, amidst stacks of tasting notes and research for the upcoming new edition of the Wine Bible, I’m constantly reminded of wine’s role in living well and its place in the compelling context of history, culture and food. Wine inspires us--not only to enjoy it, but also to share it and constantly learn more about it.

The main feature of this new site is my monthly commentary One Woman’s View. Not quite a blog and not quite an article (though I’m tempted to call it a blogicle), One Woman’s View is a sort of modern missive—something edgy that’s on my mind and may be on yours too.  By writing it, I hope I’ll inspire a minute or two of contemplation, or maybe a cheer, or even an email back saying I’m crazy. But no matter what, One Woman’s View will be rich with takes on various aspects of wine ……..sometimes funny, sometimes satirical, controversial or journalistic, but always accurate in fact and written in this woman’s voice.
