What information is available in the Members Area?
- Virtually all the tasting notes from The Wine Advocate since 1992 plus
hundreds of "overflow" tastings that the printed edition couldn't accommodate. We
update our listings within a few days after each new issue of The Wine Advocate
is mailed.
- The tasting notes from Mr. Parker's book Bordeaux: A Comprehensive Guide to
the Wines Produced from 1961-1997, 3rd ed. (1998).

- The tasting notes from Mr. Parker's book Burgundy: A Comprehensive Guide to
the Producers, Appellations, and Wines (1990).
- Most of the articles from The Wine Advocate beginning with the 1995 issues
plus articles from Robert Parker's books and other sources.
- Virtually all of the editorial information (e.g., excluding the wine reviews)
from The Wine Buyer's Guide, 5th Ed.
- In the Cellar, which includes
virtually the entire contents of Antonio Galloni's former newsletter, Piedmont Report, and provides extensive coverage
of Italy and Champagne.
- Wine Journal,
"an independent state within the kingdom of eRobertParker.com",
home to the writings and musings upon wine, music and anything else that happens
to wander into the permeable mind of your host, Neal Martin.
- New Wine Culture with Karen MacNeil, Karen's comments on the world of wine and the culture that surrounds it are available to subscribers and non-subscribers alike. Her subscriber-only Education Forum is a place where she answer questions, both simple and complex, furthering everyone's collective understanding of wine along the way.
- Parker & Zraly Wine Certification Program provides wine aficionados with an enjoyable and informative way to test their wine knowledge while, at the same time, we acknowledge and celebrate their expertise.
- Mark Squires' E-zine
on Wine, The E-Zine dates back to 1995 and provides a fascinating glimpse
into the early days of wine on the Internet authored by Mark Squires, who also moderates
our wildly popular public bulletin board.
- The Hedonist's Gazette: The Wine Advocate reviewers publish a
regular weekly column detailing their outlandish gustatory experiences along with
informal tasting notes not published anywhere else .
- Find It Online: Through our partnership with WineAlert, we offer single click
access to current retailer offerings (updated daily) already indexed to our tens
of thousands of wines, whether or not they have been reviewed in The Wine Advocate
to assist you in finally landing some of those hard-to-find wines you've always
wanted.
- Web Links: eRobertParker.com offers direct links to the web sites
of over 2,000 producers whose wines were reviewed by The Wine Advocate.
This is one of the most extensive indexes to producer web sites available anywhere.
We have had many inquiries about updating the eRobertParker.com database
with scores and notes from the latest edition of the Bordeaux book. That
has not been done because it would violate the publisher's copyright. We are looking
for a solution to this problem.
Can I print the information?
Yes. Of course, your browser will print any web page you are viewing. However, we
also offer a more powerful
printing feature that allows you to accumulate a list of
wines from one or more search results and then print it in one of two formats—a
"Shopping List"
format and a "Label"
format. The latter might be used to label bottles at a tasting or dinner, to label
cases in your wine cellar or by a retailer as a "shelf talker".
This feature will create a document in Portable Document Format ("PDF") and download
it to your browser. In order to view and print this document, you will need a PDF
viewer program like Adobe's Acrobat® Reader®.
What's coming next?
Well, this is the brand new eRobertParker.com re-launched in March, 2007
but we will continue to add new features and services.
Can I store my wine cellar information on the web site?
Not yet. However, we are planning My Wines, a unique set of tools for acquiring
wine, managing a wine cellar and interacting with other wine lovers around the world.
As a fully integrated component of eRobertParker.com access will
be free to all subscribers.
Who is WineAlert?
WineAlert
is now integrated into eRobertParker.com. Together we provide the most accurate
and convenient online wine sourcing service available anywhere. Click on the link
for all the details.
eRobertParker.com has no commercial relationship with any entity engaged
in the production or distribution of wines. Although we believe it to be carefully
edited, we cannot vouch for the accuracy of the WineAlert information nor are we
in a position to endorse the wine retailers whose prices are listed. As with any
purchase transaction you should use prudence and reasonable caution. You should
also be aware of the laws governing the purchase of wine in the jurisdiction in
which you live.
Are the wine prices current?
We derive an average cost from current retail price data received from WineAlert.
This information is updated daily. Where it isn't available the Estimated Cost provided
may be from the issue of The Wine Advocate in which they appeared. These
prices typically do not reflect current retail pricing.
I want to download tasting updates into my Robert Parker software.
Annual subscribers to eRobertParker.com who also own Robert Parker's
Wine Advisor and Cellar Manager software can download updates to the wine tasting
notes at no additional charge.

I can't find a wine.
Wine nomenclature is a very complex topic. Your problem may be as simple as spelling.
We suggest you take our Virtual
Tour for more information.
How can I find reviews that are posted on eRobertParker.com but didn't fit
into a printed issue of The Wine Advocate?
Additional tasting notes that didn't fit into The Wine Advocate are posted
on eRobertParker.com from time-to-time along with the notes that were published
in the newsletter. Look for "eRP Only" after the Issue # as a flag that this note
wasn't published in that issue of The Wine Advocate due to space limitations.
These notes can be retrieved using either Issue Search or Advanced Search (look
at the ARTICLE field once you have specified an issue) where they are categorized
under a "phantom article" called "Reviews That Did Not Fit In The Printed Edition".
What do the maturity classifications mean?
The results of a search are first displayed in a list that includes a column entitled
"Maturity". That column will contain one of the following values with the meanings
shown:
- Young: the wine is not yet within the recommended drinking range suggested
in the tasting note.
- Early Maturity: the wine is in the first third of the recommended drinking
range.
- Mature: the wine is in the middle third of the recommended drinking range
(or in the case of short ranges, anywhere within the range).
- Late Maturity: the wine is in the final third of the recommended drinking
range.
- Past Maturity: the wine is past the recommended drinking range.
- ?: no recommended drinking range was given in the note.
If a wine has been tasted more than once, the recommended drink dates are taken
from the main tasting note (usually the most recent note, unless an earlier tasting
appears to be more complete).
I got an error using the site.

browser to alert you to the error -- you may be able to copy and paste these directly
into your email); b) what you were doing when the error occurred; and c) if the
occurred when you were doing a search, please tell us what you typed into the search
