System Requirements

In order to make this site as attractive and functional as possible, we have availed ourselves of some features of modern, graphical web browsers. If your browser does not support these features, your experience of this site may not be optimal.

You may want to check the following points:

  • You will need a current version of a recent popular browser supporting at earliest JavaScript 1.2 with cookies enabled. Without support for these features, this site will simply not behave correctly. Supported browsers include Internet Explorer 6.0 or later, Firefox 1.5 and Opera 9.10. Although earlier versions of these browsers and other browsers may appear to function correctly, there are certain incompatibilities in some cases that may adversely affect operation.

  • The site is designed for screens using at least a resolution of 800 pixels by 600 pixels.

  • You will need a browser supporting SSL encryption to subscribe.

  • Your browser ought to be set to load images automatically. This is usually on by default, but if you have disabled this feature, many of the pages will not be comprehensible.

  • Your browser ought to have cascading style sheet support enabled. Again, this is usually on by default, but if you have disabled this feature, some pages will not display as they were intended.

  • If you have set your browser to override fonts set by the page, you may find that some pages do not render correctly. We have tried to avoid this wherever possible, but you may find that the pages are more attractive if you turn off this override.

  • Privacy settings at default in IE and Firefox allow us to set cookies. Default cookie settings allow us to function correctly in Opera. Higher than default settings in these browsers or third party security or privacy software may require specific permissions to allow us to set cookies.

  • If you have trouble logging in, do you use an anonymizing proxy to access the Internet? If so, it may be interfering with the cookies used to facilitate login.

If you are uncertain whether your system meets this requirements, please contact us.
